Meet Our Team of Specialist

Eric Schwartz, PT

Eric graduated from the University of Florida in 2002. Originally from Jupiter, Florida, he relocated to Sarasota County to begin his career in Physical Therapy. Eric is a specialist in manual, orthopedic, and geriatric physical therapy, with special interests in private practice and traumatic injury rehabilitation. In 2006, Eric opened Restore Physical Therapy in Englewood, following the dream of operating a practice that stands out from its peers. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Eric is a proud and involved father of 3 daughters, and enjoys metalworking in his spare time.

Michelle Guevin PT, DPT, MHsc, CMT/DN, MTC, CAPP

Michelle has specialized in challenging cases and pelvic health for men and women of all ages since 1995. After obtaining her BS and MHSC in Physical Therapy, she received her doctorate in physical therapy in 2012 from the University of Montana. Michelle is certified in manual therapy, pelvic pain and trigger point/dry needling. She is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the academy of pelvic health.

Leneigh Sharkey, MSPT, COMT

Leneigh graduated from the University of Miami with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 1997. She started her career at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio and remained there for 10 years, and then opened her own practice for 4 years prior to moving back to Florida. She held management and area director positions along the Southwest coast for a large rehab company for 8 years and now has been with Restore Physical Therapy since 2019. She has also maintained specialty certification in Manual Therapy for the past 18 years. Outside of work, she enjoys spending her free time with her family and has 2 sons.

Jeff Rice, DPT

Jeff set himself apart from other physical therapists by the way in which he became a therapist. Jeff graduated from Appalachian State University in December of 1997 with a BS in Exercise Science. After working in the field, he discovered that working within the physical medicine discipline was where he wanted to be. He later earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2010 after beginning training at the University of Miami and then completing DPT training from Florida International University in Miami, FL. Jeff is a big sports fan, with football being his favorite, also enjoying NASCAR and college basketball.

Sandy Brogan, PTA

Sandy was born and raised in Venice, FL and now currently lives in Englewood. Her professional path started at a retirement home, while trying to figure out what career fit her best. After enjoying the stories and experiences from the senior residents, she discovered the profession of physical therapy. She obtained her PTA degree from Keiser University in Sarasota in 2019, and began working in this very rewarding field. Outside of work, Sandy enjoys boating, scalloping in Crystal River, and lobstering down in the Florida Keys.

Colleen Gielow, PTA

Colleen moved to Englewood in 1987 and graduated from Lemon Bay High School in 1991. After High School she attended Manatee Community College (now SCF) on a volleyball scholarship and earned her Associates of Arts degree. She attended Broward College in Davie Florida to earn her Physical Therapist Assistant degree. After graduating in 1997, Colleen began her career in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, and has been in that field ever since. She has practiced at Restore Physical Therapy since 2010. Beyond treating Physical Therapy patients, she also manages the Silver Sneakers Gym here at Restore Physical Therapy. It is part of her job to help orient gym members to the equipment and make sure they are on a good workout program for their specific physical needs. Married since 1997, Colleen now has two sons, Colby and Brandon. She enjoys boating and fishing, traveling, and just spending time with her family. Colleen loves her job and finds great joy in seeing our patients progress and getting them back to their normal work/life.

Mary Coe, PT

Mary received her BS in PT from Ithaca College in 1991 where she also swam competitively. In the Boston area, she practiced PT in the outpatient setting for 33 years before moving to Florida. She has specialized training in work related injuries and work hardening, Graston techniques for soft tissue disorders, and vestibular, vertigo and balance disorders. Mary enjoys working with shoulder and knee related mobility issues. When not at work she enjoys the beach, swimming, golfing, and spending time with family.
